a Research Associate (m/f/d) (Postdoc) to start 01.03.2024

limited for 3 years (until 28.02.2027) within the framework of the research project "Welfare oriented nutrition and lamb rearing in organic dairy goat husbandry" funded by the Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung (BLE).



Job disciption:

  • Planning/ practical implementation of studies on mother-bonded and artificial lamb rearing
  • Data collection, data processing and statistical evaluation
  • Publication of results in journals and at conferences
  • Participation in the preparation of reports
  • Organisation of and participation in project meetings and seminars

 

Requirements:

  • completed doctorate in the field of agricultural sciences, veterinary sciences or biology
  • Knowledge in the field of planning and evaluation of ethological experiments and keeping of ruminants in organic farming
  • very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
  • Ability to work in a team and high motivation

 

In addition to the varied work in a scientific environment, we offer you employment (2/3 of the regular working time of 39.4 hours) according to Tarifvertrag des öffentlichen Dienstes (pay group 13 TV-L Wissenschaft/ East).
