Rules for Student Projects

The Student Project is conducted in the second or third semester -  individually or as group work. During the Student Project, students try out how to apply methods of scientific research by working on the topic they selected. Furthermore, they acquire additional qualification in presenting scientific results and practicing interdisciplinary collaboration.

The project report has to be written according to the rules described in the „Richtlinien zum Anfertigen von Abschlussarbeiten“ (i.e. guidelines for writing Bachelor and Master Theses) which are applied in the Albrecht Daniel Thaer-Institute of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences. Upon agreement with the advisor, the oral defence should take place soon after the submission of the project report.
