Best Doctoral Dissertations Award 2020 of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economics (EAERE) for Paul Neetzow

Paul Neetzow’s doctoral thesis “The economics of power system transitions: Modeling pathways and policies for storage, grids and renewables” is awarded the 2020 Best Doctoral Dissertation price of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economics (EAERE). Paul did his doctorate at the Resource Economics Group under supervision of Prof. Dr. Klaus Eisenack from 2016 to 2019 and defended in November 2019. The thesis contributed to the research projects de.zentral and FoReSee and was additionally funded by the DAAD and the Reiner Lemoine-Stiftung.
Further awardees of this year’s price are Maurizio Malpede (University of Milano-Bicocca) and Lutz Sager (The London School of Economics and Political Science).
