Excursion on July 25, 2024, climate forest research area in Grunewald

The Circle U. SummerSchool, a cooperation project of the European University Alliance, will take place again in July. The keywords here are climate science, environmental psychology, climate policy and communication tools.

In this context, an international group of students will come to Berlin to spend a week learning together.

Oscar Mbango, Lecturer at the University of Namibia (Ogongo Campus), will give a guest lecture on 15 July 2024 on ‘Landscape transformation and impacts on biodiversity in Savannah ecosystems in Namibia.’

 

Seminar: Reforestation in Mongolia

On 2 July (Tuesday) at 14:00, guest scientist Gansaruul Altangarel from the NGO MICA Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, will give a seminar lecture on ‘Reforestation in Mongolia’ in the Department of Agroecology, to which I would like to invite you. The seminar will take place in Luisenstr. 53, front building, 3rd floor, room 309.

From the Silk Road to Mulberry Alleys - transmedia and musical installation

As part of the Long Night of the Sciences, we will report on our interdisciplinary, cross-university teaching and research project ‘Agritecture’ on the topic of urban greenery and botanical-architectural design around the history of the mulberry tree with presentations, short lectures and campus tours.
