Communal, biodiverse and well-managed: Vocational education in support of biodiversity on the example of two model-parks in Berlin

Project Brief:

The purpose of the project is sustainable development of communal urban green through vocational education and training.

Core activities are four educational modules for landscape gardeners and landscape architects which fulfill the principles of "vocational education for sustainable development". Within these modules, two parks in Berlin Marzahn-Hellersdorf will be developped into "biodiverse and well-managed" model-parks. Furthermore, a series of round table talks are a means of networking and exchange of experiences amongst experts.
