Controlled Environment Horticulture (CEH)
Welcome!
We study how plants grow and respond to changes in their environment. An expanding knowledge about adaptation strategies to environmental stresses allows to address significant questions in both horticultural and agricultural crop production with regard to yield stability, improved plant nutrition and food quality. To accomplish this, our current focus is mainly on (i) nutrient fluxes and functions, (ii) guard cell biology, and (ii) smart & environmental friendly food production. For this, we employ biochemical, molecular, proteomic and ratiometric methods.
