The Third Meeting of the NRG (German Horticulture Sustainability Council) was held on October 28 - Pilot Farms Wanted !

On 28 October 2025, the German Horticulture Sustainability Council (NRG) held its third meeting at Humboldt University in Berlin.

In an extensive, multifaceted and highly constructive discussion, an important milestone was reached:
The preliminary Indicator Catalogue (version 1.0) for the production system “Potted Plants” was jointly approved*.

With the adoption of this catalogue, the practical phase now begins: the prototype of the sustainability assessment system for horticulture will be tested under real-life conditions in horticultural enterprises.
The NRG invites interested companies to take part in this important field test – click here to register. Further information can be found in our flyer (PDF).

* Adopted by the Council with one abstention in the Economic dimension, unanimous approval in the Social dimension, and two abstentions in the Ecological dimension.
