Degree programmes

Bachelor's degree programme

Our division coordinates one Bachelor’s degree programm in Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences in combination with or without teaching option.

 

This Bachelor's degree programme is interdisciplinary, offering diverse teaching and study forms. Graduates will contribute to solving biological, technical, economic and ecological tasks in agricultural and horticultural scientific contexts. Those who have completed a study programme with a teaching option, will be allowed to continue studying in a teacher-training related master's degree programme in Agronomy.

 

Master's degree programme

We also offer a master’s degree programme (Master of Education) in Agronomy for teaching in vocational schools in Germany.

  • Teacher-training related master’s degree programme (Master of Education) in Agronomy (Agrarwirtschaft) (only in German).

 

Our Division coordinates several modules on teaching and related research. This program contains a practical semester.

Graduates from this programme are prepared for an occupation in teaching at German vocational schools in the discipline of Agriculture. They will teach trainees and apprentices of various “green” professions, for instance, future farmers, cattle farmers, gardeners and specialists of agricultural services.
