The ITD Group receives 500 T€ DFG funding for CGE analyses of economy-wide effects of climate change induced health impacts in Africa as part of a DFG Research Unit “Climate Change and Health in Sub-Saharan Africa” coordinated by the University of Heidelberg. Project start is January 2020. The project at ITD will focus on CGE modeling for Kenia and Burkina Faso with emphasis on the specification of household groups and labor markets as well as spatial mobility of households and labor due to climate stressors.
