The Common Agricultural Policy Regionalised Impact (CAPRI) model Developer Seminar 2026 will be held on March 17–18 at Humboldt University of Berlin. Discussions will cover policy simulations, data updates, and innovations, with a special focus on new developments from the BrightSpace and ACT4CAP projects. The event offers a unique opportunity for collaboration, networking, and knowledge exchange among researchers, developers, and students.
The Seminar brings together researchers, software developers, and agricultural economists to explore advancements in the Common Agricultural Policy Regionalised Impact (CAPRI) simulation model (www.capri-model.org) for economic analysis in agriculture. The event will discuss the latest policy simulations, data updates, and methodological improvements. Special focus will be given to contributions from the Horizon projects BrightSpace (https://brightspace-project.eu/) and ACT4CAP (https://act4cap27.eu/), which aim to enhance CAPRI’s capabilities in assessing sustainability, climate impacts, and policy interventions. Attendees will gain insights into CAPRI methodologies, fostering collaboration between CAPRI developers to improve decision-making in the agricultural sector. The seminar also provides a platform for networking, encouraging knowledge exchange among experts and newcomers alike. It is open to students and PhD candidates interested in agricultural economic modeling, offering them an opportunity to engage with leading researchers and practitioners.
