Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM)

INRM Programme

The master program Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM) enables students to contribute towards the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals through both research and practice. The interdisciplinary study program offers students scientific perspectives to analyse society-nature interactions. While the program has a strong focus on institutional and neoclassical economics, methodology and theory is incorporated from various academic fields of both natural and social sciences, including environmental and political sciences, institutional analysis, and advanced methods. International students have ample opportunity for intensive academic exchange and work with scientists from policy- and sustainability-oriented research institutes in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.

Take a look at this -- the new INRM video.

INRM celebrates its 20th anniversary! As a present, our study program will be updated. The program will sustain its strong international and inter disciplinary focus towards sustainability transitions. The update will increase the options to choose among seminars, strengthen methods training, and strengthen project-oriented work.
The new official version of the study regulations and detailed program of seminars offered from winter term 26/27 is still in the making, but here you can get a first impression.
The new regulations will be compulsory for all students who start in winter term 26/27. Students who started earlier will get attractive offers to smoothly transition to the updated program. Please look for further announcements.
