Teaching
| At the Center for Development (ZEF) I teach the interdisciplinary course on the boundary concept “Value and Valuation”. The course is meant to expose PhD students of the International Graduate School, to one of the three boundary concepts taught. The course provides some historical background, the basics of valuation and the nature of value and gives room for discussion of conflicting views and case studies. At ZEF I also teach “Introduction into Ecological Economics” as part of the ZEF disciplinary course in economics. At the Bonn International Masters Programme (ARTS) I teach the course “Introduction into Development Economics” I currently supervise 2 PhD students, who mainly work on issues related to the economics and institutional economics of biodiversity and 2 MSc students. |
