Postsocialist Land Relations
The Group has
the mission to examine land reforms, land tenure, and land use in
postsocialist countries of Central and Eastern Europe and East
Asia. We conduct empirical research on the
nature of land tenure and determinants of land use in diverse
postsocialist contexts. We use this
knowledge for advice on policy and institutions that facilitate
sustainable rural livelihoods and resource use in the postsocialist
world.
