Research Colloquium on Institutional and Resource Economics
Research is a social process in which the members of the Division of Resource Economics actively take part. To this end, the Research Colloquium of the Division serves as a platform for the collective learning of the rules and methods of scientific discourse. The research staff, including PhD students, Post-docs and those Habilitation candidates regularly present their on-going research in the Research Colloquium. The essential phases and components of dissertations and habilitations, based on written work, critically discussed and further developed in a constructive manner. Furthermore, research ideas, concepts and strategies, applications for financing, theoretical approaches and empirical methods, as well as research reports, working papers, seminar papers and journal articles are presented and collectively discussed. The weekly colloquium is used intensively by all scientific staff and is also open to external participants. It takes place in the seminar room on the Division of Resource Economics (Philippstr. 13, room 1.22, second floor: Directions - how you can reach us!)
